Ph.D. in Psychological & Brain Sciences
I am a cognitive scientist who studies how we form representations and beliefs based on evidence.
In my PhD and postdoctoral work, I study how we perceive the number of objects in complex scenes and how kids learn to count.
In my postdoc, I am also studying under what circumstances children and non-human primates such as chimpanzees rationally form and revise beliefs.
My research combines techniques from cognitive psychology, developmental psychology, animal behavior, psychophysics, and computational modeling to answer these questions.
